Overview
I realized the only way to create a one-of-a-kind safari for the residents of Belle Meade was to design it as though I were doing it for my own family. We have three children, ages 4, 5, and 7. I’ve included special notes below for those of you with children under 18, but they are informative even for those of you who do not. NOTES
At Ol Donyo:
Children aged 5 years and older are welcome.
Family accommodation can be offered in the 2-Bedroom Sambu Suite alternatively, should the Sambu suite be unavailable, child rates are applicable for up to one child 15 and younger sharing with 2 adults.
Children 16 years and older will be accommodated in a separate suite and will be charged the full adult rate.
Walking safaris will be available for guests 12 years and older.
Horse Riding is available for guests 12 years and older who have previous experience riding horses. No beginners.
All units have a rooftop star bed which can be made up for a sleepout on request.
At Sirikoi:
Children under the age of 5 stay free of charge but must be booked into Sirikoi House or Cottage.
Child care is available at an additional charge.
Sirikoi welcomes kids and accommodates them in any way possible with big open lawns, a swimming pool, and flexibility around meals, menus, and tailor-made activities.
At Mara Plains:
Children aged 6 years and older are welcome.
Family accommodation can be offered in the 2-Bedroom Jahazi Suite alternatively, should the suite be unavailable, child rates are applicable for up to one child 15 and younger sharing with 2 adults.
Children 16 years and older will be accommodated in a separate suite and will be charged the full adult rate.
Families will be combined with other guests for all activities.
At Singita Faru Faru:
Children of all ages are welcome.
Families can be accommodated in the family Suite or the 2-Bedroom Suite.
Families traveling with children under the age of 10 years are required to book a private vehicle (subject to availability).
Children 17 years and older will be accommodated in a separate suite and will be charged the full adult rate.
At Singita Kwitonda:
The minimum age requirement for Gorilla trekking is 15.
Families can be accommodated in the 2-Bedroom Suite or Kataza House (4 bedrooms).
