Our Process

At RH Travel Design, we want your travels to be as memorable as possible, but in order to do so we have to learn from you, and more importantly, about you. To do this, we have a set process that we utilize for all of our clients, whether it is for a long weekend hotel booking or a multi-week, multi-destination globe trot.

Discover

Typically the process starts with an introductory consultation meeting or virtual conversation to talk in broad terms about the Who, What, Where, Why, and overall vision of your trip. Once we have an idea about the scope of the itinerary or trip you have in mind, including your travel style and budget, we can then get to work on your customized proposal.

Design

The design phase of the process is highly collaborative and may involve additional conversations so that we can refine the design and create a travel experience that is truly “you”. Working meticulously behind the scenes, we will leverage our global network of luxury partners to design beautifully curated itineraries that include accommodations, excursions, destination recommendations, transportation, tickets, dining, and other special design elements and insider tips. This will be our working blueprint as we put all the pieces together!

After any revisions are made and the final itinerary is settled, we then arrange all of your travel, assist you with any passport or visa requirements, or porterage if needed. Most importantly, we will provide you with ongoing advocacy throughout your trip. As we count down the days to departure, we will stay engaged and connected with you, keeping you in the loop of any changes or new information that might be of interest, and staying on top of any changes that might have occurred in your travel party that we might need to know about. Several weeks prior to departure, we will send you a departure checklist, a packing checklist, as well as any necessary travel documents.
