All of our experiences were perfectly tailored to our boys’ age group with some of the best guides I’ve personally ever worked with. Their ability to talk high-level art history with me and Brian one moment, then pivot to a Louvre Treasure Hunt with the kids in the same breath takes a certain type of brainpower that can only be measured by their Sorbonne degrees.
Why I Love Hotels
You’re on vacation. I realized after baby number three that the last thing I wanted to do on my vacation was to make 4 beds, 5 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 5 dinners, and pack 5 snacks for the day. A close runner-up for the least fun thing to do on my vacation is meal planning and going to the store. The idea of going to the market, cooking your own meals, and picking up a bottle of wine at the neighborhood wine shop every evening is highly romanticized and unrealistic, especially with kids in tow. As a mom, I want to think about none of this. I’ll gladly pay a bit more to be able to come home to clean sheets every day on a bed I didn’t make and a great restaurant where I can get room service and eat in my PJs.

The "Other" Mexico
Mexico isn't just a country of beautiful beaches and underwater adventures. It is a country that is also famous beyond North American borders for its history, culture, and artistic influence. For my two cents, there is no better way to experience this "other" Mexico than by visiting the Colonial region. Located in the heart of Mexico, you will feel closer to Seville than you will Cancun or Cabo.

I never really got into, nor did I understand, the whole Christmas in July phenomenon; That is until I became a travel advisor. Just like any industry, the leisure travel business can be quite cyclical in nature. Seasonal, in fact. And summertime, specifically July, is when I recommend clients begin to plan their Festive Season travel if they haven’t done so already.
